Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting: where to start
The most frequent problems with Sofia and their fixes: a failed post, a network that will not connect, a rejected media file.
The problems people meet most, with concrete fixes. If yours is not here, see Support to find out how to reach us.
- [Network connection errors](/developers/connect-errors): “This connection link has expired”, a network that refuses, no Page available.
- [Uploads and media](/developers/upload-errors): file too large, type rejected, import limit.
- [Activation and login](/developers/login): expired verification link, forgotten password, expired session.
A post failed to publish
A failed post moves to the “Failed” state, or “Partial failure” if some networks succeeded. It also appears in Home’s to-do cards. Open it with “See the report”: the report gives the reason, network by network. The three usual causes, in order of frequency:
- The account needs reconnecting. Access expires. An account with “Token expired” or “Permission missing” must be reconnected, see Manage a network. The report offers “Reconnect”.
- The post breaks a network rule. Too many media files, a video where the network wanted a photo, a missing setting. See Posting rules by network.
- The network rejected the content. The reason is given by the network: media rejected, caption rejected, network unavailable or too many sends in a row.
Once the cause is fixed, “Try again” sends the post again. Nothing had been published: no duplicate is possible. “Edit” opens the post to change the text or the media.

- Plans, limits and billing: one more establishment refused, a campaign that is too long, the AI quota reached, see Limits and overages.
